Justin Bogle nearly captured the first moto win of his career, leading more than half of the race during Moto 2 at Washougal, but Marvin Musquin ran him down to grab his second moto win of the day. Musquin’s sweep gives him the overall victory for the first time in more than a year.

For the second week in a row, Christophe Pourcel swept both of the MotoSport.com Holeshot Awards after grabbing the holeshot in Moto 2. He was immediately passed by Bogle and then began to fade back through the pack. Pourcel ended the moto in 15th.

Musquin passed Pourcel on Lap 3 to take over second and then battled with Bogle. Bogle held his own for awhile, leading nine laps total before Musquin passed him to move into the lead. Two laps later, Bogle was passed by Blake Baggett, but after that, Bogle was able to hold off points leader Jeremy Martin to avoid sliding any further, giving him a third-place finish.

Jeremy Martin and Cooper Webb rounded out the top five. All three title contenders placed in the top five in both motos, leaving the points race relatively unchanged. Webb and Martin tied in points today, while Baggett picked up just two points on both of them and remains third overall in the championship race.

For the second week in a row, Joey Savatgy (6-7) had a season-best ride, finishing sixth overall.
